Darren & Martha met each other during their enrollment at Institut Teknologi Bandung back in mid-2010. After a slow paced introduction (both being shy introverts), they spent time studying for exams and exploring Bandung together as out-of-town students. After the first 6 months knowing each other, Darren took Martha on a first date to Dufan theme park on 16th December 2010 and they've been together ever since. Both graduated in July 2014 as Bachelors of Chemical Engineering.

Darren & Martha started to develop their similar interest in traveling after graduation where they went to Singapore together for the first time. Exploring the world have been their dream, and before the pandemic hit, they have gone to 2 continents, 7 countries abroad, and 16 cities locally together. Pandemic did pause their travels as did the majority of people all over the world, therefore they are looking forward to the end of the pandemic to continue pursuing their dream.

Darren proposed to Martha after 10 years being together in December 2020, asking to tie the knot and move forward onto everlasting relationship and friendship. Both are going to say the wedding vows on 11th December 2021.
